Dax has been begging forever for me to put him in Tae Kwon Do, but from what I've heard it's pretty expensive and most places make you sign like a year contract and with him playing other sports I just didn't want to sign him up. One day he came home with a flyer from school that was put out by the city and they were advertising a self defense class that taught the martial arts and it was only $7 a week for 13 weeks. I thought was a great deal and a lot better than $100 a month so I signed him up. He was so excited. He absolutely loves it and is very serious about it. It is so cute.
Not only do they teach him martial arts but they teach them about safety and what to do when they're put in unsafe situations.
He is also taking the class with two of his buddies, Eli and Jackson. All three boys are so cute to watch. It's fun to hear them talk about karate outside of class, it's very serious business. So cute!
