Well Mckynlee started her first day of her first year of preschool! Isn't the above picture adorable?! My friend Melissa, her preschool teacher, made the frame and my friend Heather came and took pictures of all the kids arriving on their first day of school. I thought it was so cute!
Mckynlee has been looking forward to this day for over a month now. Ever since the boys started school she has thought that she needed to be in school. So she was pretty excited for this day to come. Except, when the day arrived she had a total melt down. She didn't want to wear the dress that I put her in. Being the mean mom that I am (haha) I made her wear it. She wanted to wear one of her old outfits and I didn't spend all this money on new school clothes (that she said she liked) for her not to wear one of them on her first day of school. Anyways, so she was crying about that all morning and then when I asked her to come out in the front yard to take picture she had another meltdown and refused to take pictures. So I had to bribe her with candy so I could get some first day of school shots.
Showing off her Rapunzel backpack that her Grandma McDowell gave her for her birthday.
As you can see her eyes are all puffy from crying so much. But look what a little piece of candy can do for a girl throwing a complete tantrum, it quickly turns that frown upside down. (just so you know I usually don't bribe my child with candy to stop her tantrums, but I wanted 1st day of school pictures so I was willing to go that route)
Such a cheese!
Once she arrived at her "Little Seeds Preschool" she was as happy can be. Here she is walking into Miss Melissa's backyard to play with her friends before preschool begins.
I love this picture of her swinging on the swing the the sunlight coming down.
