Daxton's Kindergarten Field Trip To The Peltzer Farm Pumpkin Patch

I had to the chance to be a volunteer on Daxton's first Kindergarten fieldtrip.  The fieldtrip was down in Temecula at the Peltzer Farm Pumpkin Patch.  Dax was looking forward to it so much and he was so excited that I was going with him.

Here are the group of boys I was in charge of for the day.  Maverick, Daxton and his two buddies from church that are also in his school class, Jackson and Brendan.

This was also Daxton's first time on a school bus.  He thought it was pretty cool, as did all the kids except for on the way back when they were all hot and tired.  On the way back he said it was the longest ride ever.

All the kindergarten stayed with their own classes.  His class's first stop was the petting zoo.

All the kids petting the baby bunny.

They even got to feed the animals.

Washing their hands after the petting zoo.

Next they got to go see and learn about all the different plants they plant there at the farm.

Then they got to meet the pig racers.  I wish I remembered the pigs different names.  They were a play on movie star names.  The pigs get to race each other each afternoon.  I was kind of bummed the kids didn't get to see the pigs race.

Daxton's class checking out the pigs.

Next we were off to the corn maze.  Daxton and Jackson had been there before and were ready to lead our group through the maze and were so proud to be the fastest group through the maze.

The boys waiting for thier class to get through the maze.

 Another class picture.

After that the kids got to go over to where the pumpkins were and pick out a small pumpkin to take home.

And then is was photo opp. time.

After posing for pictures we headed to the picnic area for lunch.  The kids had fun, but they were hot and exhausted.

Dax and his buddies, we were sad Davis couldn't be with us throughout the day, but he had to stay with his class.

Me and my little man! I had so much fun on the fieldtrip with him.  I was so glad I could go and be with him.
