Mckynlee Breaks Her Arm

Well we had our first broken bone out of the kids.  Who would of thought it would be the girl?  Last week when we were at our Couple's Halloween party we came home and the babysitter said Mckynlee and fallen back into the toy bucket and broke the bucket and hurt her arm, but that she calmed down and was fine.  The next day she complained that her wrist hurt, so we thought she just sprained it.  The whole week after she didn't complaining about it unless you touched it and she was always holding her arm close to her body.  It was a crazy week with Dax's birthday party and birthday, but I finally got her into the doctor Thursday to find she had fractured both her bones in her forearm near her wrist.  So Friday morning we had to head to Riverside to the hospital to orthopedics for her to get a cast on.  They didn't have purple casts, but they had pink and she was so excited about that.  That's what she tells people when they ask about her arm, that she fell in the toy bucket and broke her arm and got a pink cast and that the doctors didn't have purple.  She cried a lot when they were putting it on but once it was on she was proud.  I guess the girls have the bad luck in this family.  Clint has never broken a bone and none of our boys have, but I broke my shoulder when I was young and my hand as a teenager and now Mckynlee has had her first broken bone.  Let's hope its the last.
