This year our ward did a Harvest Festival for our Trunk-or-Treat. Everything was outside in the parking lot. It was a lot of fun. There were lights hanging outside, they had a bonfire and bluegrass music playing. It was different that our ward Halloween Party in previous years and I really liked it.
This year Mckynlee chose to be Snow White for Halloween. We actually bought the costume a month and a half ago, but I wouldn't let her wear it until Halloween, so it's been sitting in her closet and she's been dying to wear it. We straightened her hair to look straight like Snow White, she looked so pretty and she absolutely loved her costume.
Daxton chose to be a Phantom, Crew was a fireman and Brock was Megatron.
At the Harvest Festival the kids enjoyed hot dogs while the adults enjoyed some chili, there was a chili cook off contest.
Savanna and Mckynlee, the two Snow Whites. The funny thing is that last year they were both Tinker Bell. Not planned either year, Katie and I just think alike or I should say Savanna and Mckynlee think alike. Though Katie made Savanna's costumes both year, I have not been so ambitious.
