So, at Brock and Daxton's school the Kindergartners have 3rd grade reading buddies that come in every other week and come read to them. And it just so happened that Brock and Daxton's classes got paired together and they got to be each other's reading buddy. What is even cooler is that I volunteer on select Thursdays in Dax's class and that is the day they meet together. So it has been so fun to be in there with both my boys when they have reading buddies. Anyways, for Thanksgiving their teachers planned a Reading Buddies Feast and I was able to come in and help, along with some other parents, with the feast. It was quite the feast, one of the mom's actually made a turkey and their were all the regular Thanksgiving fixing - mashed potatoes, rolls, veggies, pumpkin pie. It was quite the feast.
